Overview
Review your current categories and sample locations to identify changes that could make your Interactive Map easier to navigate. This prompt starts with up to three recommendations, explains the visitor need behind each one, and shows where example locations would belong.
AI tools change rapidly, and results are not guaranteed. Review the recommendations before making changes.
Before you start
Provide only public information or information your organization has approved for the AI tool you choose. Review any export before sharing it and remove private or internal information that is outside that approval.
| Input | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Required: map purpose and audiences | Explain who uses the map, what they need to find, and the visitor tasks that matter most. |
| Required: current categories | Paste or attach the category hierarchy, including relevant categories that may not appear in your sample. |
| Required: location sample | Provide a location list or representative sample with current category assignments. |
| Optional: existing guidance | Add approved naming rules, required distinctions, or categories your organization needs to retain. |
A location export can help show current category assignments. See Data Export, and provide the full category hierarchy separately when your sample does not include it.

Help me organize the categories in our Concept3D Interactive Map so visitors can find what they need.
Briefly state what supplied content and sources you reviewed, what you could not access, and any limits on the review. Do not present a sample-based review as a complete audit.
Map purpose: [purpose]
Primary audiences: [audiences]
Common visitor needs: [needs]
Existing categories: [paste or attach]
Location list or representative sample: [paste or attach]
- Start with up to three impactful recommendations for a clearer category structure based on the supplied information. Prioritize visitor needs and show the relevant part of the proposed structure for this first batch. Do not present it as a complete redesign. Explain which categories to keep, rename, combine or reconsider, with a reason for each recommendation. Show where sample locations would belong and flag ambiguous groupings.
- Preserve useful distinctions. Don't assume a category is unnecessary because it has no locations in the sample. Only prepare bulk-upload formatting after I approve the structure and supply the current template.
- Use only public or organization-approved information I provide. If you cannot access a link or upload, ask me to paste the relevant content. Ask for missing information rather than inventing facts or product capabilities. Provide recommendations for my review; don't assume you can make changes to the product. Clearly flag uncertainty and remind me to verify the output before acting.
- Finish with a checklist for checking visitor needs, understandable labels and unnecessary overlap.

- Test visitor needs. Use your common visitor tasks to check whether the proposed category names and groupings make sense.
- Check the examples. Confirm that the sample locations fit, useful distinctions remain, and ambiguous cases are flagged.
- Review what is missing. Do not remove a category just because it is absent from the sample. Confirm the wider impact with the responsible content owners.
Use Categories and Locations Overview to check the product concepts. If you later choose to prepare an approved structure for import, use the current template in Bulk Upload for Categories.
Tips for Success
Start with the categories that affect your most common visitor tasks. Approve the structure before asking the AI tool to format it for bulk upload, and provide the current template rather than asking it to guess the required columns.
