Updated Text Color for Directions Screen based on Primary Color

Description: When users select lighter primary colors, the directions screen would be difficult to see. Therefore we put in code to adjust the text to be white/black based on the shade of the primary color.
Client Specific Manifest Files from the Styles Tab

Description: Our web application now has an accompanying manifest file to help create a better experience when offline and on mobile.

Information from the Styles tab will now pass through the sites saved to the mobile device (like a mobile application).

Users can add a mobile short name so if the website is added to the mobile device home screen, it will use a specific name.

The browser icon will double as an app icon if the website is added to the mobile device home screen.

New Features
Preset Node Weights in Route Builder
- Description: Route Builder users have been able to input specific node weights in the past. Now, they are able to select from a preset list of weights in addition to inputting a specific node weight.
Nodes created one after the other share the same attributes
- Description: Most of the time, Route Builder users are creating nodes with the same attributes. Before, they would have to set every option every time they create a node. Now, nodes that are created one after the other automatically share the same attributes.
Get This View captures MapboxGL map’s orientation
- Description: MapboxGL maps allow users to spin or tilt the map, thus changing the orientation. The front end’s share button now captures this functionality. Now, when users go to a URL with pitch and bearing in the hash, they will be also brought to the correctly oriented view.
Configurable map meta descriptions
- Description: Previously, when you search for a map, the name of the map (i.e. the Page Title) would display alongside our cookie policy. We allowed clients to configure the title, but not the description. As for today’s release, clients can request that we set their map’s description in the Map Manager edit page and display it in search results.
New Polymarker Icon
- Description: The polymarker icon has been updated for clarity.
Map Tour delete button moved to bottom
- Description: The delete button for locations and categories exists at the bottom of the edit panel. To create a consistent user experience, the delete button for Map Tours is now also at the bottom of the panel.
New Location/Category/Map Tour box hides with sidebar:
Removed Timestamp on Generated Print Maps
- Description: A custom generated print map used to contain a timestamp at the bottom of the legend, this has been removed.

New Features
Ability to Link External Tile Layer to a Category
- Description: Clients can now layer their own tiles on top of their map and Concept3D renderings. These external tiles are tied into a category such that they can be enabled and disabled with the category checkbox. The setting must be enabled by Concept3D and will come with an additional cost (it is currently available for clients with API Access or a feed package with no additional cost).
The new category settings for external tiles. External Tile and Tile Type are required. Tile Parameters is optional.
The external tile layer appears when the category it is attached to is enabled.
(ADA) Reorder close sidebar button to comply with WCAG logical navigation
- Description: Previously, the close sidebar button was an icon that lived in the top-left of the top bar. Because of this, the close sidebar button would be tabbable immediately after a screen reader user tabbed through the accessibility short menu. With recent design changes, the close sidebar button is now in a different location, which requires a change of tabbing flow to remain compliant with WCAG’s logical navigation requirement. Now, the close sidebar button is tabbable after the top bar. See the screenshot below for expected tabbing order after the accessibility short menu.

New Features
Add opacity control for polygon tool in CMS
- Description: CMS users now can control the opacity of the fill and stroke of polygon markers they create.
The new opacity field under marker settings, specifically for the polygon tool.
Add distance to Wayfinding
The location of the new distance information in Wayfinding.
Display Sidebar toggle with Sidebar Close and Top Bar Hide settings enabled
- Description: Previously, when maps had the sidebar close AND top bar hide settings enabled, users would not see the top bar or sidebar, and they would not be able to access the sidebar at all. Now, map users can still toggle the sidebar open and closed even with sidebar close and top bar hide enabled.
The sidebar toggle button now appears with top bar hide and sidebar close settings enabled.
Disable Wayfinding when using CMS Route Builder
- Description: Previously, if a CMS user was in Route Builder and then used Wayfinding, they would unintentionally create new Wayfinding nodes. To solve this, Wayfinding is now disabled when a CMS user is in Route Builder.

New Features
Ability to add interior levels via Bulk Upload Tool
- Description: There is a new column in the bulk upload template that allows users to upload locations to a specific floor level. This will save time moving locations around after uploading.
Generate Print Map styles now in Front End Styles tab
- Description: Generate Print Map now has a dedicated styles section under Front End Styles. Previously, CMS Style such as Primary Background Color would set the styles of the generated print map. Now, the dedicated styles section will override any CMS styles for Print Map users.

Google Analytics no longer tracking user emails submitted via Forms
- Description: This was an old feature on 1.0 maps, but in order to comply with GDPR, we went ahead and removed the code altogether!
Route Builder tooltips
- Description: Route Builder has tooltips now to explain what all the different node settings are to CMS users.

Route Builder custom node weight
Route Builder users now have to click Custom to enable input for a custom node weight.
Route Builder error message while changing a vertical node type
- Description: Changing a vertical node to a different node type caused a lot of issues because vertical nodes are connected to many other nodes. These nodes expected a vertical node. Now, to prevent Route Builder errors, CMS users are not allowed to change vertical node types without disconnecting it from adjacent nodes first. They are notified of this through a new error message.
