Simplifying Your Map Creation Process
The full-service setup approach by Concept3D is designed to simplify your map onboarding experience. Our team takes the lead upfront—reducing your workload and ensuring a smooth, guided setup.
How It Works:
1. Data Analysis - C3D begins by analyzing your existing campus map(s), PDFs, or spreadsheet data. We create a preliminary list of categories and locations for your interactive map.
To begin the process, you will provide the data to your onboarding success manager within two weeks of project kickoff.
2. C3D Refines & Builds - Based on the data provided, C3D will create a draft list of categories & locations in your map. Once reviewed, C3D refines the data, finalizes the content, and uploads everything to your interactive map.
3. CMS Training - After your content has been uploaded to the interactive map, the Onboarding Success Manager will train your team in your Content Management System and will teach you how to edit and maintain your current content, as well as to build out new content.

What's Included in Full Service Map CMS Setup:

Categories and Subcategories
We will create up to 30 categories/subcategories to organize your map effectively. We offer subcategories within the primary categories for further organization.

Icons
Give your map a visually appealing touch by associating one icon with each category/subcategory. Choose from our extensive database of icons to make your map not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

Locations
We will create one location per building on your map, making it easy for users to navigate and search for their destination. Each location will include a title, photo, description, and marker location. (Locations used from any current campus maps)

Map Style and Logo
We will customize the map's style to match your brand's colors and aesthetics. This includes incorporating your logo, giving your map a personalized touch.

Dynamic Labels
Dynamic Labels are the text layer that will display on top of your base map tiles and renderings.
This package is designed to simplify the map creation process, allowing you to focus on your vision and content. We handle the technical aspects, so you don't have to in the setup phase. We work closely with you during a working session to understand your vision and requirements. This ensures that the map aligns perfectly with your goals.
What Full-Service Map CMS Setup Doesn't Include:

Revisions to Initial Content
Once the Initial content is created, any updates to the content will be in your hands. Additional hands-off updates will be subject to a change order or SOW.

Map Image Revisions
Modifications to the map's image or layout are not part of this service.

Custom Icons
If our database doesn’t include the icon you are looking for and you don’t want to make your own icons, we are happy to help create custom icons for an additional change order or SOW.

A Fully Hands-Off Service
You will still be required to manage your content and make changes on your own after the initial setup. If your map includes renderings, you will also be required to utilize the Concept3D CMS to input revisions for those renderings.

Ongoing Maintenance
See Managed Updates if you have multiple future updates in the works and would like them represented on your map.

Interior Floorplans/locations
If your map has or needs interior floorplans, interior locations/data, or revisions to existing floorplans, a custom quote, change order, or SOW will be required.
