Clearer Accounting for Register with Cancelled Tickets
Tickets sold through Register have been updated to provide clearer and more accurate accounting for your events. There are two states that have been updated:
Cancelled: tickets that started a transaction but never completed
Voided: tickets that have been intentionally invalidated by an event organizer
With these updates, the Register report in your Admin dashboard now accurately shows revenue while accounting for cancellations, refunds, and voided tickets. For a definitive list of ticket states in Register, see this help article.
Branded Event Promotion Emails
We’ve incorporated the email header and footer templates into your event’s promotion emails, ensuring clear and consistent branding for your events. If you have Developer Theming, you’ll see any customizations reflected in emails going forward.
Accessibility Updates
Localist’s default Emphasis theme now has a few updates that more clearly communicate the following elements:
- “I’m Interested” now is a button that includes the event name in the accessibility label to make it easier for you to understand which event you’re adding yourself to.
- Sponsored labels on event cards now use correct semantic HTML and provide a clear and clean navigation experience
- Changing your Account, Communication, and Bulletin settings now has a clear, designated “current” page to make it easier to know which section you are in if you’re changing your personal settings
There have also been some structural, heading changes to make navigation easier for users on the following pages:
- Search Results
- Group, Department, and Place Pages
- Widget Builder
- Pending Digest
- User Plan & User Account Settings Pages
