Event Editors and higher can delete multiple events from the admin Events list in one batch. Localist processes the deletion in the background and shows the result when it finishes.
Who can delete events in bulk?
Required role: Event Editor or higher.
Before assigning or changing a role, review Modern User Roles & Permissions Management.
Before you begin
- Review the event list carefully and make sure it contains only the events you intend to remove.
- If an event has been canceled, postponed, or sold out, consider updating its status instead. See Event Statuses.
- Use the available list filters before selecting events when you are working with a large set.
Delete multiple events
- Log in to the Localist Admin Dashboard and go to Events.
- Open the event list you want to manage.
- Select the checkbox next to each event you want to delete.
- Choose the bulk delete action.
- Review the selected events, then complete the first confirmation.
- Complete the second confirmation to submit the deletion.
Localist processes the batch in the background, so you can leave the list while it runs.
Review the result
When processing is complete, Localist provides feedback showing which events were deleted and which events, if any, were skipped. Review this result before taking any follow-up action.
