Accessibility Improvements
Accessibility in Sharing Tools
We’ve made a series of updates to improve accessibility and clarity in the Share pop-up:
- Buttons like “Copy Link” now use a bold dark blue color to improve visibility
- The confirmation message (“Copied to clipboard”) uses a clearer green
- Social icons now match the text styling for consistency
- The Twitter icon has been updated to reflect the new “X” brand
- For screen reader users, the phrase “Share link on:” is now announced correctly as plain text—not as a heading
👉 These updates make it easier for all users, including those with visual impairments or assistive devices, to share content confidently and consistently.
Improved Mobile Navigation
On mobile, dropdown menus now have better color contrast (no more hard-to-read green backgrounds!) and smoother tabbing between buttons for keyboard users.
Improved Cookie Notice Experience
- We've enhanced both the look and accessibility of the cookie policy pop-up:
- Better color contrast ensures “Learn More” and “Accept” buttons are easy to read
- Keyboard users can now navigate between buttons without the focus jumping to non-interactive areas
- The “Cookies Policy” title is now properly tagged as a heading for screen readers
👉 These changes make the cookie notice more readable, navigable, and accessible for all users—especially those using keyboards or screen readers.
