The Popup feature is used to display a customizable message to users when the map is first loaded or when a certain category or location is selected. There is no character limit for Popups, but short snippets of text are recommended.
How to add a Root Popup (when the map is first loaded)
1. In the CMS go to the Options tab and scroll down to find the Popup Root box.
2. Add the text you would like to display in the Popup and/or edit in HTML to customize further.
3. You can use the Popup Root URL box to add a URL, but if this is set then the Popup Root field content will be ignored.
4. Save and publish! When the map first loads, a Popup will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen.
How to add a Category Popup
1. Create a new or edit an existing category or location and find the Popup box.
2. Add the text you would like to display in the Popup and/or edit in HTML to customize further.
3. You can use the Popup URL box to add a URL, but if this is set then the Popup Root field content will be ignored.
4. Save and publish! When a user toggles the category or location on, a Popup will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen.
