GA4 Support Enabled
Localist Events now supports both GA4 and UA codes for Google Analytics. Platform admins will be able to add their GA4 code by navigating to Settings > Apps & Integrations and finding the "Google Analytics GA4" entry.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is an essential tool for making informed decisions about your Interactive Maps, 360° Tours, or Localist Calendars. GA4 provides powerful insights into how users are interacting with your website and ideas to help you optimize their experience.
This guide will show you how to setup alerts in GA4 when traffic and usage is above or below normal for any of your Concept3D products, or when you're nearing your pageview limit.
What You'll Need
- A GA4 Account linked to your Interactive Map, 360° Tour, or Localist Calendar
- Analyst, Editor, or Administrator access to your GA4 Property
- Your annual pageview limit
How to Setup Pageview Limit Alerts
1. Log into your Google Analytics account
Users with Analyst, Editor, or Administrator roles are the only users that have permissions to create alerts in GA4.
2. Go to Home > View All Insights > Create
"View all insights" is about halfway down the Google Analytics 4 home dashboard.
Click "Create" to start the process of creating a new Custom Insight.
3. Create a new Custom Insight
Clicking "Create new" near the bottom of the Custom Insight page will create a blank new alert for you.
