If you're looking to add a custom font to your Localist platform, here's a few ways to get started.
Permission Required: Platform Admin or Theme Developer
Add Your Custom Domain to Existing Font License
If you're using a paid font subscription service such as Adobe, you'll need to make sure you've added Localist to that license by adding your custom domain.
This is the same domain you set up in the Admin Dash > Platform Settings > Domain & Security menu. If possible, consider adding your Localist placeholder URL (example: yourorganization.enterprise.localist.com), as well.
Adding Google Fonts to Global Site Shell
If using a Google Font, you can add the stylesheet to the Global Site Shell in the Theme Editor files. Copy the stylesheet script from Google and follow the instructions below:
- From the Admin Dash navigate to Settings > Platform Settings
- Click the Appearance tab
- Select Edit HTML for the Active theme
- Scroll to the Global Site Shell page template at the bottom of the template list
- Paste the script above Line 50, above <!-- begin include javascripts -->
- Save Changes
Once you're finished, you can use that Font Family within the Custom CSS tab or in the Main Font Family field in the Edit Settings menu of the Active theme.
