View Linked Localist Events on Your Reservation
Overview
Once a Localist event is linked to a reservation, you can navigate to the Localist event directly from Room Reservations. For multi-date reservation groups, each reservation date shows a direct link to its corresponding Localist event so you can always get to the right event quickly.
Navigating to a Linked Localist Event
Single Linked Event (Event with Instances Mode)
When a reservation group is linked to a single Localist event:
- A Go to Localist Event button appears on the reservation details page and the reservation review page.
- Clicking the button opens the Localist event in a new tab.
Multiple Linked Events (Separate Events Mode)
When a reservation group is linked to separate Localist events, one per reservation date:
- The reservation details page and confirmation screen display a Dates & Times section below the reservation summary.
- The Dates & Times section lists each reservation in the group in chronological order, with the date, start and end time, space name, and a Go to Localist Event link specific to that reservation date.
- Clicking a Go to Localist Event link opens that specific event in Localist in a new tab.
- Reservation dates with no linked Localist event show no link in the Localist column.
- If no reservations in the group have a linked Localist event, the Localist column is hidden.
The Dates & Times section only appears for reservation groups with more than one reservation.
Checking Link Status
To confirm whether a Localist event is linked to a reservation:
- If a Go to Localist Event button or link is visible, the reservation has a linked Localist event.
- If an Add to Localist Calendar button is visible instead, no Localist event is currently linked. See Add a Localist Event to an Existing Reservation.
Unlinking a Localist Event
The ability to unlink a Localist event from a reservation is coming in a future update. If you need to unlink an event before that feature is available, contact support@concept3d.com.
