What Are Managed Updates?
Managed Updates allow you to keep your interactive map visuals and data up to date without the hassle of quotes, SOWs, or funding approvals. Instead, updates are covered under an annual subscription, ensuring regular changes and faster turnaround times.
With four tiers available, you can choose the option that best fits your needs and budget.

How It Works
- Select the best tier – Choose from four plans based on your update needs.
- Submit update requests – Requests that fall within your selected tier do not require additional approvals.
- Receive timely updates* – Most updates are completed within 30 business days of submission.
- Upgrade anytime – Need more updates? You can upgrade mid-term, but downgrades are not allowed.
* In general, updates are completed within 30 days. Seasonality and scale of updates may impact timelines. Tier and order submitted will impact priority. There may be a 6-8 week turnaround depending on the complexity of the request.
Subscription & Renewal Policies
Purchasing Details
- Managed Updates are sold as an annual or multi-year subscription.
- Multi-year subscriptions (3+ years) receive a 10% discount.
- Annual payment is required upfront, independent of your billing cycle.
- Unused updates cannot be rolled over into the next term ("use-it-or-lose-it" policy).
Cancellation Policy
To keep Managed Updates cost-effective and efficient, frequent cancellations and reactivations are discouraged.
- Downgrades are not allowed mid-term, but you can upgrade anytime.
- If you cancel Managed Updates and later repurchase:
- You must pay for any missed years before reinstating the service.
- Any previous pricing or grandfathered discounts are forfeited—pricing and packages may change yearly.

Tier Definitions
Essentials
Up to 2 updates per year – Cover minor updates and changes
- Building and road label updates – Modify names, add new labels, or remove outdated ones within the existing render boundary.
- Rendering updates – Add, remove, or adjust up to 3 buildings, footprints, or athletic fields per update. Includes nearby parking lots, sidewalks, paths, trails, and other graphics within the existing render boundary.
- 360 Panorama processing and placement – Upload and integrate panoramas into the map, including tripod removal and leveling.
- Custom/seasonal overlays – Receive automatic updates for seasonal layers (Summer, Fall, Spring, Winter) when a render change occurs.
- Wayfinding updates – Modify wayfinding routes impacted by a render change
Base
Up to 4 updates per year – More flexibility for moderate changes throughout the year.
- Includes all Essentials features.
- Rendering updates – Modify up to 10 buildings, footprints, or athletic fields per update. Covers nearby elements such as sidewalks, paths, roads, and trails within the existing render boundary.
Advanced
Up to 12 updates per year – Allows for regular updates, typically monthly.
- Includes all Base features.
- Rendering updates – No limits on the number of buildings or footprints that can be modified, as long as they remain within the existing render boundary.
- Interior updates – Modify up to 5% of existing floor plans per update. This includes adjustments to room layouts, labels, icons, and other mapped interior features.
- New renderings – Request up to 5% new buildings or expansions per year that go beyond the existing render boundary.
Premium
Up to 12 updates per year – Includes the highest level of flexibility and coverage.
- Includes all Advanced features.
- Interior updates – Modify up to 10% of existing floor plans per update, covering room layout changes, labels, and icons.
- New renderings – Request up to 10% new buildings or expansions per year beyond the existing render boundary.
- Email-based CMS Content Management – Clients can send updates via email instead of manually entering changes into the CMS; our team handles the content updates.
- Priority Turnaround – All updates are prioritized in the production queue for faster completion times.

- Essentials, Base and Advanced customers must enter updates requests directly into the CMS.
- Premium customers can email requested updates.
- Updates should be grouped together to ensure your number of updates are use efficiently.
- Expect 4-6 weeks turnaround depending on the complexity of the request.
