As a Map Admin, you have the ability to assign both default and custom permissions to other users in the Content Management System (CMS) of your Interactive Map
Access and Edit User Roles
1. After logging in to the CMS, click the Account button in the top right hand corner of the CMS.
2. On the Account page, click the blue Roles tab.
3. Along the left hand side of the page, there is a section titled Add Role.
4. Once you select your map ID, a list of permissions will appear. Add a Title and a Name to this role and select the desired permissions
5. Once permissions are selected, click Save Role and the new role will be added to the Role List on the right side of the page.
6. You can assign users to this role from the Users tab of the Account section. See our help article, Adding and Editing Users, for more information.
User Role Definitions

| Manage Users & Roles | Able to manage users & roles in the CMS |
| Manage Settings | Edit Options, Styles, Extensions, embed options, and Data Export |
| Publish | Publish changes to content |
| Add Category | Create new categories. |
| Confine Permissions By Category | Limit user access to only edit specific categories. The Categories must be created first. Once this is checked, select the specific categories to edit in the sub-list. Edit Location permissions must also be selected. |
| Delete Category | Delete categories. (Requires the ability to edit in order to use) |
| Edit Category | Edit categories. May be affected by the 'Confine Permissions by Category' permission |
| Add Location | Create new locations in the map |
| Delete Location | Delete locations (Requires the ability to edit a location.) |
| Edit Location | Edit locations on the map |
| Confine Permissions By Tour | Limit user access to only edit specific Map Tours. The Tours must be created first. If selected, be sure to select specific tours to edit in the sub-list. Edit Tour Stop permissions must also be selected. |
