Delegation and admin permission always come up as a topic of conversation with C3D map admin. Do I want to share the map with multiple departments? How would that benefit? What are the downfalls? 

As a solution consultant, I always recommend to share limited permission levels with a diverse group of people. Sometimes events teams, security, transportation, or admissions don't even know how the map works or how they can use it to communicate with an audience. The map is a great tool to share more departments- alumni/advancement is often a team overlooked with map edits. Here are a few ideas to share with them:

• Category: Alumni owned business pins (locally or nation wide)
• Category: Alumni chapter or meet up cities (locally or nation wide)
• Category: Hotel pins and shuttle routes for families or alumni to stay at during homecoming or reunion weekends
• Location: Seating, buildings, walking routes, points of interest for folks who aren't familiar with campus
• Location: Accessible walking directions between two hot spots on your map (ie. Suggested parking to the Auditorium for a reunion speaker)
• Walking Tour: Historic Highlights (what's changed on campus in the past several decades)
• Walking Tour: Highlighting Donors
