There is a lot you can do on our general tours tab. The best way to think about this tab is it is all the global settings for you 360 Tour
To begin this process either click the "Create New Tours" button or click "Edit" on one of your existing tours
The first thing to do is add a title! All you have to do is type in what you are going to name your tour!
The next thing to do is add a description for your tour! This can really help welcome your end-user and start the storytelling portion of your tour
You can choose to have your mini-map display or not on your front-end tour. Where this matters if you are a tour-only client. If you are a map client with Concept3D, the suggestion would be to have your mini-map turned on.
4. Base Map Tile Color
There are 4 base map tile options you can choose from depending on what style you would like to go for.
Streetview- highlights buildings and streets. More traditional view
Light- Lighter contrast that has less detail and color
Dark- Darker contrast that has less detail and color and seems more like "night time"
Scenic- Will highlight green spaces, forests, and water more and have fewer details about streets/buildings
5. Link Rendering
This is for Map + Tour clients only. Talk to your Client Success Manager to add your readings to your 360º Tour map view.
6. Default Zoom Level
You can set the default zoom level for the map view of your tour. Click "set default zoom level" then move the slider to your zoom level preference.
7. VR Mode
You do have the option to have VR mode toggled on or off on our front end. There are two reasons why clients might turn it off. The first is they do not have the capability or want their end-user to view their tour in VR. It is not an ADA friendly feature currently
8. Welcome Pop Up Settings
Your welcome pop up settings control the welcome modal that shows up on your front-end tour. You have the option to turn off or on not only the welcome modal altogether but even the "First Time User: prompt as well.
After deciding to turn off those features or not. We have now given you the ability to add a welcome video to the welcome modal as well! All you have to do is add a public or unlisted Youtube or Vimeo link and it will automatically add it to the modal.
