Version 2.0 comes with a number of new location and category settings to allow you to further customize your map!
Location Specific Icons: Set on the location edit page, individual locations can have a marker that will override the category marker icon. This marker will only display on the map, not the sidebar.
This map uses unique icons for locations within the Friar 5K category. The end result allows custom icons for each mile marker along the way.
Location Specific Zoom Levels: This setting allows location markers to display only on certain zoom levels. This can be set by individual location or category. If both a category and location have this setting enabled, the location will override the category.
Checkbox: This setting allows you to remove the checkbox from a category. If the checkbox setting is set to FALSE, the category cannot be turned on or off by front end users. Subcategories are not effected by the parent category's setting.
Location Display Option: There are two options for how to display location information, Location Sidebars and Location Balloons. CMS users select this globally on the Options Tab. With Version 2.0, you can select to change the display option for specific categories or subcategories. This setting can be found on the Category Edit page. If set, it will override the global setting for that category only. All subcategories and categories need to be set individually to override the global setting.
ex. Perhaps you have a category for bike racks that does not need any additional location details. This category might be set to "no info", so the balloon or sidebar details do not display with an empty description.
Zoom Visibility: This setting allows location markers within an entire category to display only on certain zoom levels. This can be set by individual location as well. If both a category and location have this setting enabled, the location will override the category setting.
